People Who Love the Game
APTC is a family-run tennis and pickleball facility with more than 35 years of experience. Our team brings together certified teaching professionals, experienced administrators, and customer-service staff to support players of all ages and levels.
Hemel Cosme
Hemel Meghani Cosme is a certified USPTA and PTR professional, USTA Net Generation coach, and licensed Cardio Tennis professional. A former world-ranked singles and doubles player, Hemel grew up playing in Queens and later ran Central Park Tennis Center before owning APTC.
John Cosme
John helps lead APTC operations and supports the club’s commitment to providing a welcoming, organized experience for tennis and pickleball players throughout the community.
Flore Cadet
Flore Cadet has been part of the APTC family since 2013. With a passion for business, organization, and customer service, she oversees day-to-day club operations and helps players and families navigate APTC programs, schedules, and services.
Bill Lukowski
Bill is a certified PTR teaching professional and has been part of APTC since 2005. He has competed nationally and internationally on the ATP and USTA tours and brings an informative, positive, and fun approach to player development.
Jason Chin
Jason is a certified USPTA teaching professional with more than 20 years of coaching experience. Known for his high-energy lessons, he creates an upbeat learning environment that keeps players engaged while improving their game.
Sam Gornez
Sam is a USPTA-certified coach and Strength & Conditioning specialist with more than 10 years of experience. A former Division I player at Binghamton University, he has helped athletes of all ages and skill levels, including players who advanced to collegiate tennis.
Ann Karpova
Ann joined the APTC staff in September 2018 and brings more than 20 years of tennis administration experience. Her knowledge of the sport and club operations helps keep the front desk and daily player experience running smoothly.
Michela Leandri
Michela joined APTC in 2020 through the summer camp staff. She brings warmth, positive energy, and a natural ability to connect with young players while also supporting customers and families at the front desk.
